Some couples just exude light and love, and I must say that Christina + Nils are one of those couples. I couldn't help but smile the whole time I was editing their images, as it is so clear that they adore one another.

I loved spending the evening with these two and getting to know them better. They were up visiting Portland for Nils’ birthday weekend and I’m so glad we had time to fit in their fun (albeit chilly) engagement session down on the Eastern Prom trail. Despite the chilly temps, I had so much fun with these two—they literally laughed throughout their entire session, which in turn made me laugh. And I love that when I asked what kind of music they like to dance to, they said Weird Al. So of course, I played Weird Al for them on my phone and they danced to it for me! When the sun had finally set, we moved over to their hotel bar to warm up, chat some more and snap a few more portraits.
