Mary-Katharine + Blake | Cape Elizabeth Wedding | Maine Wedding Photographer | Stepheney Collins Photography

Mary-Katharine and Blake got married on the first Sunday in August and I was lucky enough to document the day for them. I drove home from this wedding and I couldn’t stop smiling. For real. The joy Mary-Katharine and Blake exuded all day was palpable, and contagious. Everyone at their wedding seemed truly happy and 100% there to witness and celebrate these two. There are so many amazing moments from this day that are burned in my memory— Mary-Katharine and her mom dancing together after the dress went on, Mary-Katharine’s dad’s reaction to seeing his daughter all dressed up, Blake’s bloody finger after a boutonnière pinning accident, their first look full of big smiles, endless laughter and so much joy, and one of the most amazing father of the bride speeches I have ever witnessed. There were very few dry eyes after that one (I’m not crying, you’re crying), and I will always think of Jim singing his own version of “You Are My Sunshine” when I hear that song now.

Here are a few of my favorites from that day. Thank you for trusting me to tell the story of your day.
