2025 YEAR IN REVIEW | MAINE FAMILY & NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER

My what a year 2025 was! I know we are 6 months into 2026 (how is it June already?!) but I always love putting together the year in review post. As an artist whose work is constantly evolving, revisiting all my sessions from that year is an important part of the creative process. I always love seeing what trends emerge, what things drew my eye, what moments made me press the shutter.

When I’m photographing, I am living in the moment, I am fully present, and I am witnessing what is happening in front of me. It’s thrilling to be able to do this kind of work, to capture moments in time that are fleeting.

I go into every session with the hope that I can capture the truth of the family and people in front of me. I am so grateful to the families who hire me and trust me with their family photos. It is always such an honor to be welcomed into your lives for an afternoon or a morning. To be able to witness and document the beauty that is your real life is an absolute dream and one that I do not take lightly. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
